Erika Eggers Wiikmann is Director of Internal Controls, Risks and Compliance, of Simpar S.A and controlled companies, and a member of Anti-Corruption Collective Action Advisory Board of UNGC Brazil, since 2021.
Erika holds a bachelor's degree in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Santos, Postgraduate degree in Public Law and Contract Law and specialization in Compliance and Internal Controls. Erika practiced as a lawyer in the private sector for 10 years, in the areas of regulatory, civil law and public tenders.
Since 2016, Erika has been working in compliance in the private sector. As Compliance Officer of CS Brasil, a company controlled by Simpar S.A. holding, she was part of the construction of the Anti-Corruption Collective Action, in the Urban Clean, Solid Waste and Effluents sector. She contibuted to the development of CS Brasil's transparency porta, which provides information on a company's participation in public procurement processes, including bidding values and contract terms. This portal was recognized as an example of good governance practice, in SDG 16 Business Framework - Inspiring Transformational Governance, published in 2021. Ans she is a speaker and co-author of the book "Compliance in Verticals".
