UNODC and UN Global Compact will host a Private Sector Forum on the margins of the eleventh session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). This event will bring together the private sector, public sector, civil society, academia, youth and international organizations to shape the global business integrity agenda.
The Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, also known as the UN anti-corruption conference or COSP, is the largest global anti-corruption gathering. Every two years, the Parties to the Convention meet to review its implementation and discuss how to improve international cooperation and to better prevent and tackle corruption.
UNODC and the UN Global Compact jointly organize the Private Sector Forum, a high-level event taking place during COSP, bringing together business leaders, government representatives, civil society, academia, youth and international organizations to address pressing anti-corruption challenges. Building on the success of the first Forum at COSP10 in Atlanta, which attracted approximately 300 participants and 59 speakers from major companies and organizations worldwide, the COSP11 Private Sector Forum will create a space for meaningful dialogue and commitment to strengthen business integrity. The Private Sector Forum will take place on 15-16 December 2025, in Doha, Qatar.
The 2025 Private Sector Forum will bring together business leaders, government representatives, civil society, academia, youth and international organizations to explore how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies can transform anti-corruption efforts while addressing critical ethical challenges. Through interactive sessions and multi-stakeholder discussions, participants will share concrete innovative solutions for strengthening business integrity while shaping the global business integrity agenda through global collaboration.
The road to COSP11Over the past two years, since the tenth session of the Conference, significant progress has been made in strengthening business integrity in line with resolution 10/12 adopted at COSP10:
UNODC and the UN Global Compact have developed a new course on “Doing Business with Integrity", which helps private sector employees navigate integrity challenges in their work through real-life scenarios.
A Think Lab for business integrity comprised of 26 companies providing thought leadership on business integrity was established. 3 sessions have been held to date.

Academia, civil society, public and private sector representatives have been engaged in over 17 countries through meetings, trainings, webinars, workshops and various other forms of engagement on business integrity. Research publications, policy papers, model codes of conduct, tools and other resources have been developed and made available. In collaboration with the UN Global Compact, UNODC has also conducted follow up meetings to assess progress on the outcomes of COSP10 Resolution 10/12.
