Jan Sprafke, who joined Ericsson in September 2020 as Head of Compliance for the Market Area Europe and Latin America, was named permanent Chief Compliance and Integrity Officer at Ericsson in October 2023, having served as acting Chief Compliance Officer from February 2023. Mr. Sprafke exhibits a high level of expertise in the fields of risk and governance, anti-money laundering, competition and cartel law, anti-bribery and corruption, and third-party management.
Mr. Sprafke occupied a number of executive roles in global corporations, including ThyssenKrupp and Bilfinger SE. He is a lawyer by profession. His recent admission in March 2023 to the OECD Anti-Corruption Leaders Hub, which partners with the US Department of State, is noteworthy as it demonstrates his dedication to global compliance standards. In addition to being the author of the 2010 book "Corruption, Criminal Law and Compliance," he possesses a PhD in criminal law.
