Ia Mameishvili is the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Cellfie Mobile LLC, bringing over 15 years of experience across the banking and telecommunications sectors. Her expertise spans anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and counter-terrorist financing, with a strong track record in building and strengthening corporate integrity frameworks.
Ia’s achievements include designing and implementing a comprehensive Corporate Compliance Program from the ground up, driving meaningful shifts in the mindsets of senior leadership, employees, and the broader business community. A major milestone in her career was her pivotal role under a U.S. Department of Justice Deferred Prosecution Agreement, where she collaborated closely with the DOJ-appointed Monitor. Ia successfully led the execution of a multifaceted plan to meet stringent DOJ requirements—work that concluded with the company’s successful completion of the Monitorship in 2019.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Ia has also contributed to global integrity initiatives. She served as a member of a Think Lab on Business Integrity and played a role in the revision of An Anti-Corruption Ethics and Compliance Programme for Business: A Practical Guide. She is also an active member of the newly formed Private Sector Platform, a joint initiative of the UN Global Compact and UNODC, and Co-Chairs the UN Global Compact Network Georgia’s Action Platform on Business Integrity and Collective Action Against Corruption, supporting cross-sector collaboration on integrity and compliance.
Ia holds a bachelor’s degree in law, the ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, and is a CCEP-I certified compliance professional.
