In September 2019, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) reached a negotiated resolution agreement with a construction company due to corrupt practices in two IDB-financed projects. As part of the settlement, the company was debarred for six years, followed by a period of conditional non- debarment applied to several of its subsidiaries, and agreed to integrity reforms to be implemented under the supervision of an independent monitor.
