"What are you doing as a person? It is very easy to say, "you are not ethical, you are not complying", but what are you doing to change that?
I feel that the modules make you think a lot and help you to apply the gained knowledge. They give you tools that we can apply in our internships in the participating companies, and I think that is very important.
I highly recommend students not to take the course lightly because in the end, this topic concerns all of us. I really enjoyed participating in the implementation of the modules. I decided to work at Novartis, because I like the fact that it is a socially responsible company and it gives us the opportunity to apply ethics."
"We were very interested in the ethical aspect among the students, because this topic links the way we work with the project that you are carrying out in order to design this training module for students.
We shared these modules amongst the faculty members and they passed them on directly to the students. As of today - one year after we started - we have more than 5,000 students who have already completed these modules.
For us, it is very valuable that our students get to know the reality of the companies that have these problems and are addressing them."
"From the Guest Lectures, what I most appreciated were the comments and points of view of young people that forced me to rethink how an issue of integrity violation can be perceived.
Young people always have a different mindset compared to our generation, or to the generation of most of the people who work in the company. Young people always find a different solution.
If corporations, within the private sector, have the capacity to build a better society, this will be beneficial both for the corporation itself and for you as a person.
I am very grateful to UNODC for inviting Bayer to this project and of course to the company for its commitment with this initiative."
